Dovercourt Park is a neighbourhood located conveniently near the city centre, with a diverse population, and Edwardian style homes. The most homes feature porches in the front and laneway parking in the back. Lots in the area are long, narrow, and lined with mature trees.

The best greenspace in the area is that of Dovercourt Park—a 6 acre spread featuring a playground and wading pool for children, tennis courts and sports fields for athletes of all ages, and ice rinks in the winter for the whole family to enjoy. The park is also home to the Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club with additional facilities like a pool, gym, arts and crafts studio, and computer lab for youth to enjoy. Christie Pitts Park and Dufferin Grove Park are also great family destinations within the neighbourhood.
